Matthew Paul, M.D., C.P.I., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.O., F.A.P.C.R., F.A.C.R.P.
Dr. Paul is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is a founding member of Connecticut Eye Consultants, where he plays an active role in developing the practice’s research department.
Motivated by his patients and the joy of helping them see clearly, Dr. Paul is passionate about building long-lasting relationships and performing delicate surgeries. He stays current with advancements in ophthalmology through continuous education and attending conferences.
Research
Dr. Paul has been working on ophthalmology clinical studies since 1998. He has since been apart of 93 studies, working as the principal investigator in most cases.
Dr. Paul finds fulfillment in the gratitude expressed by his patients and prioritizes their well-being in all aspects of his work, especially when discussing research opportunities that could lead to new treatments. He believes that research not only enhances his practice but also empowers patients to contribute to the development of novel medications for their conditions.
