Mackenzee George, BS

Mackenzee joined Connecticut Eye Consultants in 2023 as a Clinical Research Administrative Assistant and quickly advanced to Clinical Research Coordinator in 2024. A graduate of Central Connecticut State University with a B.S. in Biomolecular Sciences, Mackenzee conducted independent research on neuron excitability related to dopamine in C. elegans, aiming to identify potential treatment targets for human neurological disorders.

Mackenzee first discovered a passion for clinical research during an internship at the New England Institute for Clinical Research in 2019, where they contributed to recruitment efforts for a Biohaven migraine clinical study. This experience solidified their commitment to the field.

With a primary focus on patient care, Mackenzee takes pride in building strong relationships with patients, ensuring they feel valued and prioritized throughout their health journey.
