Bruce Altman, M.D., F.A.A.O
Dr. Altman is a board-certified ophthalmologist and has been a dedicated partner at Connecticut Eye Consultants for nearly 30 years. He performs state-of-the art surgery, including laser-assisted cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. His passion for microsurgery and commitment to patient care drive him to come to work every day, where he finds fulfillment in preserving and improving his patients’ vision.
Dr. Altman stays at the forefront of ophthalmology by actively reading the latest literature and attending educational meetings. He is dedicated to fostering meaningful interactions with his patients and continuously developing his skills to provide the best possible care.
Research
Dr. Altman has been working on ophthalmic clinical trials since 1998, as both the principal investigator and sub-investigator. He believes in the importance of research, viewing it as a vital tool for enhancing patient care while prioritizing safety in all studies.
