Armand Dacacche, M.D., F.A.A.O
Dr. Dacacche is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is currently the president overseeing Connecticut Eye Consultants. In addition to a full practice at CEC, he has also taught medical students at the Yale School of Medicine.
Dr. Daccache is actively involved in clinical research, presentations, and abstracts. He has spoken at multiple national meetings and Grand Rounds. He was involved with the AntiVEGF and AREDS trials while in training and is an investigator on multiple diabetic and macular degeneration studies.
Research
Dr. Dacacche has extensive experience in clinical research, beginning his work in 2001. Over the years, he has contributed to more than 24 research studies, serving both as an investigator and sub-investigator. His research has spanned a wide range of ocular conditions, including diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, and age-related macular degeneration, among others. Through his involvement in numerous studies, he has developed a strong expertise in advancing treatments and improving outcomes for patients with various eye conditions.
